Index to VPRS 10300 School Files (Non-Government Schools)

This databases gives access to files from 1906 to 1952 that were maintained by the Registered Schools Board to provide a history of all Non-Government schools in Victoria since registration.

You can search this database to find files relating to the history of non-government schools for the period 1906 to 1952.

Enter the principal’s name, school name or number (if known), school address, or dates into the boxes below and click Search. Results displayed include names of principals, school name and number, school address, and the date range during which it operated.

To order these records, take note of the school number and browse the Consignment Details for VPRS 10300 in Archives@Victoria to identify the item with the matching school number. Once ordered the volumes can be viewed in the Victorian Archives Centre Reading Room.
